Robert Koren’s superb 25-yard second half strike was enough to give Hull City a 1-0 win at the KC Stadium and consign the Blues to their third successive defeat. The Tigers hit the woodwork twice within a minute in the first half of what was a drab game with neither side creating much in front of goal during the entire 90 minutes.

Keane: It's Even Hard to Win a Place on the Bench Tue 09th Nov 2010 15:47
Boss Roy Keane says it’s not only hard to make his first XI at the moment but there’s also stiff competition for places on the bench. The Town manager says the younger players are making it difficult for more senior players like Mark Kennedy and Darren O’Dea to make the matchday 18 on their return from injury.

Town boss Roy Keane is pleased to be back in the top six but says it counts for nothing unless his side can stay there until May.
